Ray Alexander has waited a long time to bring home a Championship in NCW. On November 3rd,
WPW's Pinky and NCW's Mr. Walker collaborated to insure he would not win the Light
Heavyweight Championship and again on February 22nd, helping Mat Bomboy win the Unified
Light Heavyweight Championship. Alexander has sworn to make Pinky pay for his constant
interference whether it's in NCW or WPW.
However, Alexander has another goal. The Pennsylvania Heavyweight Championship will be
recognized by numerous Pennsylania wrestling companies and the holder of that belt is in line
to make a good amount of money defending that belt around the entire State. On March 9th, Ray
Alexander walked into New Elite's debut show expecting a match with JT Westler. However,
Alexander was informed during the show that Westler had "a family emergency" and was not
there, but Claudio Castagnoli just "happened" to be there and would replace Westler. Despite
giving up size, experience and having virtually no time to prepare, Alexander pulled off the huge
upset and made it into the finals.
Another suprise was the entry of Qeenan Creed into the tournament. Creed, 1/2 of MCW's Tag
Team Champions in Maryland defeated Prodigy PYT in his semi-final match. Controversy
reigned again as Prodigy was replacing ROH's Delirious who simply did not show up for the
event. Speculation is running amok that NCW Owner Mr. Walker orchestrated the events of
March 9th to keep "his" Pennsylania Heavyweight Title Belt off of Ray Alexander at all costs.
There have been numerous rumors as to why Walker dislikes Alexander so much, but a
comment from him more or less eliminated that.
"Look, if I didn't like him that much, I'd fire him. I am the Owner of the company and the belt,
period. If I didn't want him around, I'd simply get rid of him and any company that deals with me
wouldn't use him either. I have more important things to worry about than some stupid rumors
that belong on TMZ instead of wrestling. Now, if you will excuse me, I have other things to do,
like make more money." stated Mr. Walker when contacted via e-mail.
Mr. Walker has denied there is an issue and that there is a conspiracy. What is known is, on May
3rd at The York County Vo Tech in York, Pennsylvania that Ray Alexander will face Qeenan
Creed to crown the first and only Pennsylvania Heavyweight Championship officially recognized
by The PA State Athletic Commission.
